I have read many books about cryotocurrency and none of them mentions software used for mining. Also, most of tutorials online are just fakes. I don't think leaving one fancy software open would give you money, I would believe if they input 100 terminal commands and leave it open and there are hash rates and details displayed, in terminal window, while cypto being mined... Seems like people are keeping crytomining as secrets.

Imagine if the authorities were about to eavedrop a random tor user, and what they found was a page of newspapers, BBC Proms, a video of cat playing a piano and Historical portraits, they would give up entirely.
That's why we should use tor for 'legal' or run-of-the-mill activities like browsing images of saucepans, posting handsome men, watching a video of flying lawnmowers...
please do not use mainstream social media on tor (I mean logging in using your clearnet accounts). It hurts your anonymity. I have to change my machine, change the orb mixer and the lightning transmitter to change my identity (it was an arduous process).
