Only .tiff format is supported
a 67.8 MB .tiff file was used for this demonstration. Once the file was selected, WordPerfect will convert to its own "WPG 2.0" image format.
No .png and .jpg support unfortunately.

Although, image file format support is very limited, the rtf support of WordPerfect 8.0 isn't that bad. Also, WordPerfect runs without any performance issues on a dual core 480 MHz rig whereas Ted flickers (a lot) when type. LibreOffice Writer has some minor UI performance issues, but it doesn't affect the "overall" usability of the software itself..
